Build the Ultimate Computer Rig

There are a lot of options when it comes to getting a personal computer. For the average user, there are sure to be a retail computer that can be purchased off the shelf to provide more than adequate speed and performance. For some users, these devices will not suffice. In these instances, the best option is to build a computer rig from scratch. By choosing the individual components, one can get exactly the right computer and create the ultimate computer rig.

Budget

One of the first areas to consider would be the overall budget for the project. In most cases, this would only include the cost of components and any shipping related charges. By having an overall budget, it is easy to adjust the type of components that are purchased based on price. Depending on the specific needs and preferences of the individual, certain components may be more important than others.

The price can also vary based on any additional components that are needed such as a keyboard, mouse, monitor and any gaming controllers. Depending on the desired use for the computer, these extra components should be up to par with the quality of the computer.

The Parts

In a custom computer rig, the components will vary based on the preferences of the user. The first thing to consider would be the CPU. Many people that utilize their rig for gaming prefer a quad core processor while others are perfectly content with a lesser priced dual core model. Reading individual reviews will help to narrow down this decision.

The amount and type of RAM that is installed would be the next consideration. SSD RAM is currently the fastest and best option for this type of memory. It is just a matter of determining how much to install.

One component that often gets forgotten about when building a custom rig would be a cooling system. Electronic devices needs to remain cool to operate most efficiently, and this is certainly the case when it comes to computers. Most CPUs will come with a fan or cooling system, but it is best to opt for a more powerful additional cooling system.

Whether it is for extreme gaming or to keep track of a lot of documents and programs, it is easy for most anyone to build the ultimate computer rig. It simply takes careful consideration and the right components to make this a reality.

Send me your pictures of your ultimate computer rig and I will put them up.
